As a specialised debtor financier, our target market is those businesses
that sell to other businesses on credit terms. There are a number of businesses
that are suited to debtor finance, and these can be split into two main
categories:
1. Businesses that require additional
working capital for specific reasons, eg:
i) Growth - the facility is generally limited only to the level
of a businesses accounts receivable. As the business grows, so does
the Line of Credit. This gives your client flexibility to grow their
business in the knowledge that they have an increasing working capital
facility, without the need to continually approach their Bank Manager.
ii) Start Ups / MBOs - Debtor Finance is an ideal facility to
assist those businesses in their infancy, with their working capital
needs.
iii) Obtain Supplier Discounts - the additional cash generated
will enable a business to negotiate discounts with its suppliers.
iv) Settlement Discounts - by gaining access to 80% of invoices
immediately, a business can avoid offering expensive settlement discounts
to their customers.
v) No Real Estate - many of our clients have refinanced their
traditional Bank facilities such as overdrafts, generally without the
need for real estate security.
vi) Quick Creditor Turn - Creditors need to be paid quicker
than debts can be collected.
2. Businesses that seek to outsource
their receivables administration.
